Of all the new unveils that have been brought about by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit one of the greatest is OPPO’s 5G smartphone. Rumoured to launch early 2020 the smartphone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 technology.

This isn’t all that OPPO has revealed. They have also announced plans to launch the Reno3 Pro. This too will be equipped with 765G Qualcomm Snapdragon technology and will hold as OPPO’s first dual model 5G product.

Vice President of OPPO and President of Global Sales, Alen Wu narrated, “By powering our devices with Snapdragon 865 mobile platforms, we are bringing premium flagship 5G smartphones with better experiences like camera, gaming and artificial intelligence with enhanced performance for consumers around the world. The Reno3 Pro, featuring the Snapdragon 765G, will allow users to experience the superior 5G connectivity, Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite Gaming, and outstanding performance in its ultra-thin form factor. OPPO plans to roll out more 5G products in the future, driving the large-scale adoption of 5G around the world.”

The Snapdragon 5G mobile platform allows mobiles to serve as a culmination of both quality and aesthetic. Not only does it enable the mobile phones to operate with peak cellular connectivity, but it also helps OPPO achieve the pinnacle of design in its products, delivering the best in the video, audio and gaming experiences.

Since its inception, OPPO has dwelled on marketing and promoting 5G smartphones. With the launch of the Reno 5G in Switzerland in May, OPPO’s mobile became the first official 5G phone in Europe. Soon after orders were dispatched to countries such as the UK, Italy and Australia. In turn for their efforts, Reno 5G, OPPO, Qualcomm technologies and Ericsson were honoured with the “Best 5G Network Development in Europe.”

For OPPO, the value of its relation with Qualcomm Technologies is immeasurable. The very first of its collaborative projects was the Find X smart device that ran on the Snapdragon 845. As expected, the product did remarkably well in European markets. It provides users with an ultimate gaming experience thanks to its phenomenal design and diverse functionality.

Now, in 2019 OPPO has allowed users to experience the Reno 10 mobile phone. Featuring as a 10 hybrid zoom smartphone, the Reno 10 runs on Snapdragon 855. Similarly, the Reno Ace, which is run by the Snapdragon 855 Plus, favoured particularly well with the public due to its cutting-edge camera and great performance.

In a time when technology is taking over, and global connectivity is increasingly important, OPPO strives to pioneer the 5G arena. They continue to do so in collaboration with external organizations such as Qualcomm.
