POCO X3 (NFC) has become the debutant for Qualcomm’s newest and most powerful 700-series 4G processor, Snapdragon 732G. As a result, the performance of the device is taken to new levels. The incredibly huge battery, 5160mAh allows users to experience the power of the processor for two days on one charge. Meanwhile, the phone’s 120Hz+240Hz display creates an incredibly smooth and responsive experience superior to most flagships on the market.

The device is pack with 6 GB and 8 GB RAM along with 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB internal storage options. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm SM7150-AC Snapdragon 732G Octa-core processor. The display of the smartphone is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and comes with a 6.67 inches and 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution.

Poco’s latest phone packs some decent camera hardware on paper too. The rear quad camera setup features a 64MP main sensor (IMX682), a 13MP ultra-wide shooter (119-degree field of view), and a pair of 2MP sensors for macro shots and depth effects respectively. Selfies are handled by a 20MP camera in the aforementioned punch-hole.

The main camera is excellent during the day, with photos showing great contrast, dynamic range, and sharpness. Shutter speed is a bit slow compared to the best cameras, but it’s a minor complaint.

At night, the 1/1.73-inch main sensor isn’t really large enough to produce consistently well-lit shots. The software assistance is known as “night mode” fixes a lot of the problems, but if you point and shoot at night, shots can be blurry and noisy.

There is no telephoto lens, so all zooming done here is digital. Still, the large 64-megapixel sensor provides enough image information for a credible 2x zoom.

Video enthusiasts can make use of the device’s 4K video recording as well as features including smooth video zoom, focus peaking and AE/AF lock. The included LOG/RAW format support and Vlog mode not only ensure that users can capture their most important moments in utmost quality but also turn the phone into a semi-professional workstation for video content production.

POCO X3 NFC will be available with two variants, 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB, in Shadow Grey and Cobalt Blue. Priced at £199 and £249 respectively, it will be available for online purchase from September 17th on mi.com/uk and Amazon.

Meanwhile, an early bird price will also be offered from 13:00 BST on September 17th to 23:59 BST on October 8th, on mi.com/ukand Amazon, when consumers can purchase the 6GB+128GB variant at £229, enjoying a price drop of £20.
