1MORE Unveils First THX Certification for True Wireless Headphones

1MORE, a globally distributed premium consumer audio company, unveiled today their QuietMax active noise canceling technology suite, which is supported on the world’s first THX Certified true wireless headphones, the True Wireless ANC In-Ear Headphones ($199.99). These in-ear headphones feature dual drivers, two levels of active noise cancellation, pass-through mode, and wireless charging as an option. Moreover, these devices feature pending THX Certification – the third such 1MORE product and the first in the true wireless category says the company. What that means is that the in-ear headphones are subject to THX’s certification process, which involves testing in areas including frequency response, channel balance, cross-talk, THD, and polarity.

1More collaborated with internationally acclaimed Grammy Award Winning producer, mixer, and sound engineer Luca Bignardi to perfect the final tuning to deliver a precise representation of your favorite artist’s intended sound.

Together they create a spacious and transparent feeling of having nothing between you and your music. The patented armatures work together to deliver sizzling highs and can withstand extremely high input power without distortion. They have an extended frequency range of up to 40,000 Hz to reproduce high-resolution audio. Frequencies in this range add “transients”, a sonic quality normally only heard in live music. The armatures are uniquely inset with durable silicone covers for lasting performance and resilience.

For a headphone to obtain product certification, THX engineers complete hundreds of scientifically-formulated tests to ensure the highest audio standards possible. The rigorous certification program gives special attention to interpreting high frequency correlation, improving dialog intelligibility, and low-frequency extension.

In addition, THX ensures a nominal balance deviation between the left and right channels to create a well-transferred and well-balanced audio signal. The tests look for sufficient sensitivity levels to achieve a premium level of audio output while maintaining minimal distortion at the required sound pressure level. THX engineers also look for virtually no crosstalk between channels in order to ensure the device will accurately reproduce the complexity of the spacial sound. These standards were already inherent in 1MORE’s Triple and Quad Driver headphones.

“By collaborating with 1MORE and their engineers, we have seen firsthand their dedication and diligence to ensure their consumers get the best possible audio experience,” said Peter Vasay, general manager and senior vice president at THX in charge of the THX Certification program. “These True Wireless ANC In-Ear Headphones have undergone our rigorous testing process and are now THX Certified, giving proof of their quality audio performance.”

“1MORE takes pride in delivering the very best audio products which can be seen through our awards, and the lengths we go through for industry-leading validations such as THX Certification, and the addition of QuietMax,” says Frank Lin, chief executive officer, 1MORE.

In addition to now having QuietMax technology onboard the 1MORE True wireless ANC and Dual Driver ANC Pro have amassed seven industry and media awards just this year, further validating their supremacy in their respective classes.  The Dual Driver ANC Pro was the recipient of a 2020 CES Innovation Honoree award and 2020 iF Design Award.  While the True Wireless ANC headphone was the recipient of a 2020 VGP Award, 2020 CES Innovation Award, 2020 iF Design Award, as well as a 2020 Best Headphone award from the European Hardware Association.
