You just simply have to plug it in any standard electrical outlet and can access Alexa in that vicinity. The Smart Clock introduced by Amazon comes equipped with a digital display and adds new features to the Echo Flex. the display on the Smart Clock has been engineered to automatically adjust brightness according to the lighting conditions of the room. You also get to set timers for any task you may be performing.
The Smart Clock works as simply as the Echo Flex. To use it, you just have to plug it into Echo Flex’s USB port and you will be good to go. You just have to set the time zone on you are in on the Echo Flex and the display will show time-based on a 12-hour or 24-hour format on the Smart Clock in accordance to the time zone. The Third Reality Smart Clock has been introduced not just so you could check the time but to help you stay organized and on time at home. The setup process is extremely as you just have to plug it in and follow the voice prompts. In order to change the 12 or 24-hour format, you can use the Third Reality skill. Navigate to the Skills section in the Alexa app and lookup Search Reality Gadgets. Once found, enable the skill and give the command: “Alexa, open Third Reality”, and follow the prompts. Apart from the automatic brightness set up by the display’s sensor, you can also manually change it by giving the command: “Alexa, set First Clock’s (or whatever you’ve named it) brightness to 50%”, or “Alexa, turn off the First Clock”. You can also say: “Alexa set up a timer for 10 minutes” and your Smart Clock will display the countdown. The amazing thing is that you can set up to 20 timers simultaneously.
