When is a keyring not a keyring? When it incorporates extra features. While people like Swiss Knife/Victorinox have been on the act for ages, the digital world we live in has been asking for something new, and Olixar seem to have the answer in their 2-in-1 Micro USB and Lightning Cable. So what is this? Exactly what it says on the tin!
The size of a regular car key, this keyring has both a micro-USB and a lightning port connector attached to it, while the other end is a standard USB. By day, just a usual keyring, by need (night?), when you are in a bit of a pickle and need to access a USB cable for your Apple or Android (or Windows or Blackberry or even non-smart) device, all you need to do is whip out your keys, open up the tabs, and you have a cable that not only allows you to charge your device, but also to sync it, transfer files across, and anything else you may need a cable for.
Of course, the problem it brings is that it is small. Yes, it doesn’t reach out much, and is only a few inches here and there, but hey, that is the price you pay for something that is so compact you won’t even notice when you travel with it.
Personally, this is a must have device that should be part of everyone’s keyrings. I mean, why not!
