It is no secret that we are keen cyclists, and have a love of cycling. Helmets are pretty integral to your safety when it comes to cycling, but carrying them about can be quite a pain. I have tried carrying them to work with me, or locking them with the bike. It works sometimes, but not always. Sadly, the shape of the helmet is something that just doesn’t fit in a bag very well.
Morpher, the folding helmet on Indiegogo, is here to change it all.
The folding technology has been developed by Jeff Woolf OBE, who has twice been awarded the British inventor of the year. It is already patented, and the technology gives you a lightweight bike helmet that can go flat, and be folded in half.
You can contribute anything between $5 and $2000, but you’ll have to pay a minimum of $59 to get one of these bad boys. Obviously, there are other perks if you pay more.
You can watch a video about the product here:
The campaign has already raised almost $10k of their $35k goal, and they still have 41 days left. Since they have signed up for Flexible Funding, they’ll get all the money contributed. That means that your investment will definitely go to the creators!
So, what are you waiting for, if you value your safety and get on bikes, get pledging! You can find them here: http://igg.me/at/morpher
