We have just entered the new year of 2022. Granted the last couple years might have been bumpier than expected due to unforeseen reasons such as mainly, the Covid-19 pandemic. In the most recent Consumer Electronics Show (CES) hosted by the Consumer Technology association, Sony unveiled their most recent works amongst many other major players in the global tech & gaming trade. The biggest innovation they spoke about in the world-renowned Expo was the Playstation VR 2 – a revolutionary step forward in the virtual reality gaming sector. Not only will the all new VR headset feature bigger, clearer games thanks to the next Gen platform’s higher processing power, we’re also getting a tonne of new futuristic features, ranging from visual fidelity, to headset-based controller tracking, to new sensory features, eye tracking technology, and more. On another note related to virtual reality advancements, VR technologies are also being implemented at a high pace in the iGaming industry, and we are surely set to see VR implemented into all kinds of online & live casino games throughout the coming year.

Razer Gaming’s Sophia Project

If you like sci-fi movies, you’re going to love this one. Razer is working on a project unlike any other we have ever seen before in real life, only in the movies. Project Sophia consists of a special computer built into a modular gaming desk which pretty much holds every single component you would find in a normal high-end gaming computer, except it’s all integrated into the desk. Some are even calling it the gaming battlestation of the future, and the lack of necessity a PC tower isn’t the only advantage that this desk brings users – as all the peripherals and parts that make it work like a computer can be attached and interchanged in a simpler way than ever before, with personalizable modules for your computer parts that let you attach them as easily as wireless charging, or plugging in a USB cable. Granted the device is still in its concept stages, yet one thing we know for sure is that Razer never fail to provide after their big global announcements.
