AlphaTheta Corporation is unveiling their latest, limited-edition DJ Controller in collaboration with Off-White™. The corporation has announced the launch of their exclusive DDJ-1000-OW from Pioneer DJ, made in collaboration with Off-White™.
Pioneer DJ and Off-White™ have worked together to bring the concept of “Sound Engineering” to life with their exclusive DJ Controller, DJ-1000-OW, and a capsule clothing collection to reflect the same. This collaboration came to life because Virgil Abloh, founder of Off-White™ and one of the most important artistic directors in the fashion industry, desired to create DJ equipment that explores the harmony and unity of music. Pioneer DJ and Off-White™ worked on creating DJ-1000-OW through an artistic process.
DJ-1000-OW
The DJ-1000-OW is created as a special model with a unique design to reflect the collaboration. Its fluorescent orange and matt white asymmetrical colours and tagline printing are what bring a unique look to the controller. The DJ-1000 controller is built to outperform in both performance and portability with its layout similar to the CDJ-2000NXS2 and DJM-900NXS2 setup, which are used as club standards by the professionals.
The DJ-1000 features a professional layout with 4-channels. It is compact yet powerful so you can take your party anywhere. It is designed with a colour LCD on jog display screens so you can control the BPM, loop points, etc with ease. Any DJ can truly boss the decks with legendary effects to bring a creative flair and unique textures to the mixes.
Sound Engineering Clothing Collection
With the launch of Pioneer DJ’s DJ-1000-OW, Off-White™ is set to launch a capsule clothing collection “Sound Engineering”. This clothing line will include t-shirts, hoodies, and a coach jacket. The design is inspired by the internal structure of the DJ-100 DJ controller. The apparels are all cotton canvas, marked with silk-screen printed graphics in fluorescent green ink. The jacket has been given a vintage treatment to offer refined aesthetics.
Availability
The DJ-1000-OW, Dj controller will be available in limited quantities globally. The DJ Controller would be available to buy from Selfridges for £1,549 / €1,799 from mid-July 2021. The capsule clothing collection will be available at Off-White, Farfetch, and select Off-White™ mono-brand stores worldwide.
