Huawei Consumer Business Group (BG) today announced the launch of a new desktop monitor, the new HUAWEI Display 23.8”. The monitor represents Huawei’s first venture into this product category as it continues to invest in an increasingly diverse product ecosystem, as part of its 1+8+N strategy.
At a time when purchase decisions are primarily driven by user experiences, consumers demand more from not just the displays equipped on smartphones, but also from PC displays. In view of this trend, Huawei spearheaded the development of bezel-less laptop displays that exemplify Huawei’s unique FullView DNA. Having laid a strong foundation, Huawei is now taking another step ahead with the introduction of the high quality, HUAWEI Display 23.8”.
Featuring a sleek and seamless unibody design with three narrow bezels measuring just 5.7mm, the HUAWEI Display 23.8” has a screen-to-body ratio of 90% and is compatible with PCs, laptops and mobile devices.
At 23.8 inches, the IPS panel supports a Full HD resolution (1920×1080), 72 percent of the NTSC colour gamut*, a contrast ratio of 1000:1* and a wide viewing angle of 178 degrees. Combined, these allow the display to provide premium picture quality and display any content – from high-res images to Blu-ray videos – with vivid detail. It also supports an eye protection feature that has passed the TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification and Flicker Free certification.
Setup is easy and simple with the stand, which features a compact base and supports tilt for a comfortable viewing experience, fully compliant with VESA mounting standards. Users can harness the larger display area to work more efficiently or better express their creativity.
The slim FullView design featuring narrow bezels means that the display complements any desk set-up offering a high-quality viewing experience while taking up minimal space. The back of the display has an elegant, minimalist design that echoes the clean look at the front, making it a great option for both home and office.
