OPPO, one of the leading electronics brand has celebrated the OPPO INNO DAY 2020. It was themed “Leap into the Future” showcasing what the integrated future might look like. The event was held in Shenzhen and had “Technology for Mankind, Kindness for the World” and “virtuous innovation” against the backdrop. Also unveiling for the first time the “3+N+X” technology development strategy. Announcing Three Concept Products, OPPO Defines Future Technological Exploration
OPPO shifted a little bit of focus to three concept products during the event. The concepts put into demonstration how all the new possibilities of human-tech interaction could look like and it was amazing seeing a glimpse of the future of technology.
The first in line from the concept products is the OPPO X 2021 rollable handset. OPPO has defined itself as its latest achievement of OPPO’s R&D in the flexible display and structural stacking, bringing users a more natural interactive experience. The concept handset features OPPO’s three proprietary technologies, including the Roll Motor powertrain, 2-in-1 Plate, and self-developed Warp Track high-strength screen laminate. User get to adjust the size of the display based on the actual needs, which is just incredible!
The comes the OPPO AR Glass 2021 that fully manifests the “leap” in OPPO’s exploration of the digital world. It comes in an innovative new split design and 75% lighter than its predecessor which is unreal. As for the core components, OPPO AR Glass 2021 is built with the Birdbath optical solution, enhancing the immersive experience. Also, OPPO AR Glass 2021 features diverse sensors, including stereo fisheye camera, one ToF sensor, and one RGB camera.
Another leap into the future that was showacases is the CybeReal AR application powered by real-time, spatial calculation technology. It has the ability to enableshigh-precision localisation and scene recognition and is supported by OPPO’s three core technologies, including accurately reconstructing the world to the centimetres, real-time high-precision localisation, and OPPO Cloud, enriching user’s perception and understanding of the real world.
