The Safe Spacer by the company is a lightweight wearable that enables workers and visitors to maintain safe social distancing, enabling factories, offices, museums, hotels, and other workplaces and public spaces to operate with peace of mind. The device has made it even more convenient and flexible for small businesses and large scale enterprises. The more convenient ways to wear, charge, and sync as well as integration options with the proprietary data systems allows for a simple yet effective solution.
It can be worn on either the wristband, belt loop, or lanyard. Safe Spacer is extremely precise in its detection when other Safe Spacer units are within the 2m/6ft range. It immediately alerts the wearers with a choice of visual, vibration, or audio alarm which can be set according to preference. The Ultra-Wideband technology in the device also enables it to be 10x more accurate than Bluetooth. Moreover, it can also optionally store “collision” data to monitor compliance or perform fast contact tracing.
In order to make the management of multiple devices easier for organisation, there is an optional S-Charger docking/charging stations that allow for up to 25 Safe Spacers to be charged simultaneously (or more, when chained together).
A unique ID tag and built-in memory is featured in each Safe Spacer to optionally associate them with workers’ names for tracing unintended contact. For privacy, no data except the device’s ID and proximity is stored.
The data can be retrieved by the S-Charger while charging or wirelessly via the optional S-Bridge UWB access unit. You can connect both the S-Charger and the S-Bridge to any computer via USB. The data will be extracted by using the free Safe Spacer software for review. Additional options to synchronize data from multiple access points lets companies compile all their data in the cloud, or integrate it into existing enterprise systems.
