Toshiba TV has added yet another incredible piece of display technology in its TV lineup, the all-new flagship Alexa built-in model, the 4K HDR UK4B. It is available to buy from Argos in three different sizes: 43-inch, 50-inch, and 58-inch. It brings forward an incredible experience of the 4K HDR and is powered by Toshiba TV’s TRU Picture Engine, plus Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and Sound by Onkyo.

Great value 4K HDR in a sleek design

The UK4B is all about a state of the art technology with the best value for the money spent. It has an incredibly seamless, premium frameless design that houses the 4K HDR Screen. As a result, all the focus is on the moments occurring on the screen while offering a contemporary stylish finish which will be the pride of place in your living room this year.

Alexa built-in

Voice control is becoming the new norm and the UK4B has paced up with built-in Alexa allowing it to have the ability to become the heart of your smart home. It has an embedded microphone in the TV’s bezel which opens the gate to an entire world of smart features to explore.

Toshiba TV’s TRU Picture Engine

The performance of the UK4B is off the charts thanks to the Toshiba TV’s TRU Picture Engine. It enhances the viewing experience by making the images more upscaled, smooth, and detailed. There are three different image processing technologies that go into the TRU Picture Engine which allows it to offer true to the life viewing experience. These include:

  • TRU Micro Dimming technology gives the Toshiba TV range dynamic contrast performance, offering deep blacks, impressive contrast, and perfect detail across dark and bright scenes
  • TRU Resolution powerful upscaling means non-4K content is displayed with perfect clarity and precision, so it always looks its incredible best
  • TRU Flow smooth motion technology is ideal for sports fans when the action comes thick and fast the powerful MEMC technology removes the judder effect and produces a smooth, crisp image

Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and Sound by Onkyo

The last piece in the puzzle that enhances both vision and sound qualities are the Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos technology. Dolby Vision takes the TV experience to a whole new level by offering ultra-vivid picture quality. The difference can be easily spotted when compared to a standard picture as Dolby Vision has the ability to deliver colors that are up to 40 times brighter and blacks that are 10 times darker.

Bart Kuijten, Commercial Director at Toshiba UK comments “With the UK4B, we’re making incredible 4K HDR TV and the latest in connected smart home technology available to everyone. Whether you want a sleek, near frameless design, voice control with Alexa, or just simply access to all the latest streaming apps and Freeview Play – we have something for everyone.”
