Acer packs powerful display technology into new CB2 monitors

Acer

Acer has unveiled powerful new displays by the names CB342CKC and CB282K monitors. Both monitors are 4K and have high tech packed in them. They have been put into shape for prosumers who aspire to color accuracy and visual sharpness. It produces a blur-free image and professional-looking ergonomic design.

In-Plane Switching ZeroFrame in 4K

The color accuracy and sharpness of the monitors is unmatched. This is made possible due to the latest display technology in Acer’s CB2 monitors.  The In-Plane Switching ZeroFrame monitors display images and colors with 4K and HDR 10 capability. ZeroFrame design virtually removes the display bounding box to give seamless visuals and the sharp 4K UHD display is 16:9 up to 3840X2160 high resolution, four times higher than Full HD displays.

Vesa DisplayHDR 400

The displays are able to produce deeper levels of black and white contrast thanks to the Vesa DisplayHDR. As a result, the images produced have greater immersion and a realistic touch to them. There is a glimmer in the brighter scenes and the darker scenes are enhanced with details shown usually hidden in the shadows. As a result, the colors appear true to themselves as they are in real life.

Radeon FreeSync and 1ms VRB

The monitors have been designed keeping in mind the gaming community. The Radeon FreeSync specification allows the game’s frame rate to be determined by the graphics card no the fixed refresh rate of the monitor. As a result, screen tearing is minimized and smooth gaming experience is provided. Acer CB342CKC monitor also features a 1ms Visual Response Boost (VRB), which results in a much clearer and less noticeable blur in fast-moving images.

Three-in-one connection

Another aim of the Acer CB342CKC is to make the lives of its users easier with a USB 3.1 Type-C port that plugs into smartphones, tablets or laptops, providing the display, data transfer and device charging all at the same time with a single cable.

Comfort and protection

Comfort and protection are traits which the monitors give weight too. The CB2 series has a  178°wide-viewing angle feature that displays colors perfectly at every angle and all monitors come with Acer VisionCare encompassing Flickerless, BlueLightShield, ComfyView and low-dimming technologies to enhance viewing comfort over long periods and minimize eye fatigue.
