Plus, being Android 10 ready, the new Nokia 2.3 will receive guaranteed monthly security updates for three years and OS updates for two years, ensuring this smartphone gets better over time.

Nokia 2.3 specification

The Nokia 2.3 comes with a 6.2-inch HD Plus display with a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels and a waterdrop notch that houses a 5MP selfie camera. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor that is coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage space which can be expanded further using a 400GB microSD card. The newly launched smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie and Nokia says that it is ‘Android 10 ready’ and that the company will deliver three years of security updates and two years of software updates to the phone.

As far as the camera is concerned, the Nokia 2.3 as mentioned before comes with a 5MP front camera. It sports a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor with an LED flash. The phone comes with a new Recommended Shot feature – exclusive to Nokia smartphones – that helps users to pick the best picture.

It comes with a dedicated button for Google Assistant and it is backed by a 4,000mAh battery with AI-assisted battery technology, which the company says learns what apps you use the most and prioritizes power for them.

Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer, HMD Global: “Consumers world over have really appreciated the Nokia 2 family of products. The Nokia 2.3 is a step forward in our promise of offering you an experience that stays fresh longer – giving consumers access to two years of OS upgrades and three years of monthly security updates even in the affordable price tier.
