GoPro introduced HERO8 BLACK, Mods and Max

1

GoPro, the leading camera technology company has redefined what you can possibly do with a camera. The introduction of the HERO8 Black, Mods and Max hits the market with new and improved features.

GoPro HERO8 Black

Inside the GoPro Hero, 8 Black is a 12-megapixel sensor that can record 4K (3840 x 2160) footage at 60, 50, 30, 25 and 24fps in 16:9, as well as 4:3 4K at 30, 25 and 24fps. Slow-motion fans will appreciate its 2.7K at 120 and 100fps capability.

You can also record super slow-motion movies at 240 or 200fps in 1080p, 960p or 720p resolution. This allows users to produce 8x slow-motion movies.

GoPro Hero7 Black users will no doubt clock that these are the same frame rates and resolutions available in their action camera. Despite the rumours of 4K at 120fps, GoPro has stuck to the Hero7’s capabilities and saved the big upgrades to some of its core technologies.

Along with expanded video capabilities, GoPro has integrated its HyperSmooth 2.0 stabilisation technology into the Hero8 Black. HyperSmooth, which debuted a year ago in the Hero7 Black, is advanced image stabilisation technology.GoPro has also revamped its TimeWarp technology in the Hero8 Black. Debuting as well in the Hero7 Black last year, TimeWarp is essentially a stabilised time-lapse mode that smooths out your motion to produce more fluid movements through time. Like previous iterations of the popular action camera, the GoPro Hero8 Black is waterproof down to 10 metres.

GoPro Mods

GoPro has not stopped with the incredible camera. It has also brought to its users The Media Mod (79.99 GBP), Display Mod (79.99 GBP) and Light Mod (49.99 GBP). all those who wish to add professional-grade audio, a front-facing display and enhanced lighting to their HERO8 Black can make use of these futuristic Mods. Turn your HERO8 Black into a powerhouse!

GoPro Max

Maxing out on versatility was GoPro’s goal with the GoPro Max and that is what they did. It has a dual-lens setup but it seems like having three cameras in one. Use Max as a waterproof, maximum-stabilised single-lens HERO camera, dual-lens 360° camera or next-level vlogging camera with its built-in front-facing display and shotgun-mic audio capabilities. The Max HyperSmooth allows was remarkable video stabilisation, no matter how you use it. Max also features four digital lenses, including the new ultra-wide Max SuperView – the widest field of view ever in a GoPro. If you are looking to take your creativity to a whole new level, the GoPro is the camera to go for.

The Refreshed GoPro App

Another interesting update for customers is the integration of the award-winning Quick app in the GoPro app. Moreover, the GoPro app now has support for both GoPro and phone content in edits. Users can now add filters to single as well as multiple clips and now streams live at full 1080p resolution on both HERO8 Black and Max. the company’s inhouse media team has brought new themes inspired by iconic GoPro edits.
