Motorola has launched a smartphone that will solve all your camera problems. The phone does justice to all the important moments in your lives. The new Motorola zoom cover every aspect of the photographs that you want to take. The triple camera trend has been disrupted by the quad-camera technology introduced in the Motorola zoom. Moreover, it features an innovative satin glass design in eye-catching colors.
Taking center stage will be a 48-megapixel primary camera that should be identical to the one found on Motorola’s One Vision. The sensor users so-called quad-pixel technology which essentially creates a more detailed 12-megapixel image by combining four pixels into one. It’ll also support optical image stabilization for improved shots and presumably an f/1.7 aperture.
Accompanying the main snapper should be a super-wide-angle camera. Details about the sensor remain scarce at the minute but the lens itself should be identical to the one found on the upcoming Motorola One Action. Therefore, the camera will likely support a 117º field of view and be marketed as an ‘Action Cam.’
The rest of the specs are fairly impressive for a phone of this class: it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor (the same as the Moto Z4), 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, a 4,000mAh battery, and a 6.40-inch OLED display at a 19:9, 2340 x 1080 resolution with an integrated fingerprint sensor. There’s even a 3.5mm headphone jack.
In what might be my favorite touch, the rear Motorola icon has been repurposed from serving as a fingerprint sensor (which, again, is now in the display) to a glowing LED notification light for when your phone is facedown. It’s like Apple’s (sadly defunct) glowing MacBook logo if it was also useful.
Make every shot shine
You can make every shot shine with the quad-pixel technology. The camera offers four times better light sensitivity to produce the sharpest and brightness photos in low light situations. The Motorola zoom also features a night vision mode. So you will be taking nighttime photos with true colors and stunning clarity.
Absolutely perfect portraits
The Motorola Zoom produces the best focus by keeping on the object or person that you want. The 5MP pixel depth camera combined with the main camera works to blur out the background automatically. The phone also allows you to change the blur or add blur after you have taken the picture. You can change the intensity as the software supports it.
Works best in all light conditions
The Motorola Zoom cameras don’t let you let go of any moment where you can take a picture. The light conditions are never a problem even for the front-facing camera. The 25-megapixel selfie cam on Motorola one zoom comes equipped with Quad Pixel technology to deliver four times better light sensitivity. Day or night, indoors or out, you can count on your phone to snap great selfies every time.
The Motorola zoom features a massive 6.4-inch OLED display. It makes watching movies and playing games an absolute pleasure. The screen goes from edge to edge making it virtually borderless. It delivering vibrant colors and sharp details in Full HD (1080p) for an unbelievable viewing experience.
Under the display fingerprint scanner
The absolutely stunning display doesn’t just provide vibrant colors and beautiful imagery. It also features an under the display fingerprint scanner that allows you to securely access your phone. The scanner graphics disappear once you have unlocked the phone. The fingerprint sensor comes equipped with a machine learning algorithm and support for continuous learning, so it gets faster and more accurate every time you use it.
Pricing and Availability
The new Motorola one zoom will be available on the 6th of September in the UK starting at £379. (UK retailers Amazon, Argos and John Lewis).
