Review: Atailorbird Waterproof Travel Case For Gadgets And Accessories

One of the most annoying things that can happen when you go on a trip is forgetting or mislaying your gadget accessories. I recall having to purchase a BlackBerry charger cable once on a cruise and then finding it in another piece of luggage where I had forgotten I put it. The best solution for this is to keep everything organised and in the same place. That’s where a special gadget accessory case would come in handy and I got the chance to try one. The case I sampled was the Waterproof Travel Case from Atailorbird which is specially designed for cables, chargers and accessories.

The case itself is quite stylish if a little plain. It comes in a dark, grey-blue colour with blue stitching and from a distance, it looks a little like denim. However, it’s not. The material is soft and has a satin finish. There are two zipped pouches with each zip having the BUBM logo on it, which stands for Be Unique Be Myself. There’s a small handle on the top end of the case.

On unzipping one of the pouches on the Atailorbird case, you will find that inside it is a beige colour throughout. One one side there’s a mesh covered pocket with a black zip. This would be ideal for storing tablets or a Bluetooth keyboard. On the other side, which is the deepest of the whole bag, there are four compartments, each separated by a soft partition. There are two small compartments and two large ones. This would be a great place to store plugs and travel adaptors, or perhaps a slim Bluetooth speaker.

The other pouch zip opens to again, a beige colour throughout. There are another two mesh covered pouches which I guess would be a good place to store a smartphone when not in use. As most people carry their phones on them, it might be a good place to store instruction manuals for any new gadgets you’re trying out while on the move. You could also keep a tracker in here to ensure you don’t lose the case when it’s full of your treasured gadgets and accessories. It also features five areas with tight elastic designed to hold something in place, possibly cables.

I like this a lot. I’m actually surprised I haven’t seen more of these on the market. It’s a clever idea for the modern traveller, or even for someone who wants to keep all their cables tidy and organised at home. It ensures you know where everything is and can lay your hand to it when needed. I would definitely buy a case like this and would highly recommend it.
