Samsung GamePad

Samsung have today introduced the Smartphone GamePad and the Mobile Console app to enhance gaming experience on its Galaxy range of devices. The device has been launched in response to the expanding global gaming market, and it means that any compatible Samsung Galaxy device can enjoy a fun and convenient way to enjoy an advanced gaming experience.

The device is attached to mobile devices ranging from 4 inches to 6.3 inches, and it can also connect to your TV through an HDMI cable or AllShare Screen Mirroring, allowing you to enjoy gaming experience in your living room.

It connects with your device via Bluetooth, and the features are optimised for Galaxy devices running 4.3, i.e, Galaxy Note 3/2, Galaxy S4/S3, and it enables easy connectivity with GamePad via NFC tag, and quicker access to games via the Play button.

The PLAY button launches the Mobile Console app, Samsung’s new game launching app, which opens to allow you to browse game pad supported games.

This means that you can enjoy the convenience of console quality games without paying the prices. The games that are available are titles such EA’s Need for Speed™ Most Wanted and Gameloft’s Asphalt8: Airborne, first-person shooter titles such as Gameloft’s Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour, sports titles such as SEGA’s Virtua Tennis™ Challenge, and action titles such as Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame.

The Mobile Console App is available for download through Samsung Apps, and the GamePad is available in select European markets, and is coming to the UK in the coming weeks.
