We have already reviewed the orange glowing gaming mouse that is the SteelSeries Sensei. Now they are taking it one step further by introducing the Wireless version of the very same, the SteelSeries Sensei Wireless Gaming Mouse. It comes with the best hardware in the market, and adds SteelSeries premium switches as well as configurable CPI settings to the mix. It promises 16 hours of wireless gaming time, with a lag-free wireless gaming experience.
“The Sensei name and line-up has always been about delivering best-in-class performance to users who want a mouse that takes what is considered “good” and exceeds expectations on performance, technology, software and capability,” said Bruce Hawver, SteelSeries CEO. “The Sensei Wireless holds true to its name and was built to be the best wireless gaming mouse on the market with a wireless performance and features that will sure to impress its users.”
The SteelSeries Sensei line has already been winning awards as well tournaments. The new Sensei Wireless continues the trend with its premium laser sensor, configurable CPI (up to 8200), and DCPI up to 16400. It is designed for a 30 million click lifespan, fast response, and includes 8 programmable buttons.
Being ambidextrous, this works for both left and right handed people, and now it adds grip and 4 zones of illumination, which are once again programmable and report status.
The wireless functionality has a 1millisecond response time, which means no detectable lag. On a full battery charge, it promises 16 hours non-stop wireless gaming, and up to 20 hours steady gaming. Users will also appreciate the base station, which acts as a dock for charging, transmitting and receiver, as well as indicator for battery life.
The SteelSeries Sensei Wireless Gaming Controller will be available on SteelSeries.com beginning in March 2014 for £134.99.
