Blue are better known for their microphones. However, today they have announced the starting of a rebellion against headphone convention. They talk about how we have compromised comfort and quality in headphones, rather than getting powerful accuracy and detailed low end. Headphones rather feature bass and powerful volume instead. Blue are promising mobile hi-fi, or Mo-Fi as they like to call it.
“The market is plenty crowded with lo-fi headphones for mobile devices. But classic hi-fi headphones are too power hungry for our mobile devices. We are ready for the next innovation in headphones and the market is ready now too,” said John Maier, CEO of Blue. “We set out to do what no one else is doing: to end the compromise we make when listening across multiple sources. In the past, the headphone industry has approached this compromise with clever workarounds, but we solved the problem outright, with no compromises. We’re prepared to unleash Mo-Fi, true mobile high-fidelity.”
Blue have been working in the audio industry for more than 20 years, and the Mo-Fi promises the ability to achieve high fidelity sound throughout, for a consistent listening experience of every track on any device. From studios to mobile devices, and everything in between, Mo-Fi promise to end the sacrifice on quality.
Blue is unleashing the Mo-Fi line in Spring 2014.
