Acer has today showcased their Project DualPlay gaming laptop concept at IFA 2024. The project focuses on the age old debate between gamers. What’s better for gaming? Is it a gaming controller with a console, or is it a good old fashioned keyboard and mouse combination. With the Project DualPlay concept, you have both.
The device features dual pop out speakers, and 360 degree dynamic RGB lighting. It seamlessly switches between keyboard and controller use with dual-mode gaming.
It pushes the boundaries of gaming on the go, as players now find more ways to play their gaming titles. It includes a vast touchpad, that doubles as a built-in detachable controller. Players can easily take out the controller from its lock by simply placing two fingers on the release button located on the top of the keyboard. Otherwise the device is locked electromagnetically in place.
The pop-out speakers feature 5W power to immerse players in heart pounding audio.
Got two players? Project DualPlay has that covered too, just like the Nintendo Switch did ages ago. The controller can be separated into two joysticks that can instantly allow to turn your laptop into a battle station.
With his laptop, Acer are introducing a new innovation in the gaming laptop market. It presents a bold new step in this domain, and it will be great to see where the market moves from here.
