Look and feel

It is probably just me, but the way they look took me a bit of practice to get used to. They kind of twist a different way as they go in and out of the charging case, and it feels a bit counter intuitive.

Having said that, they’re like most compact earbuds, on the small side, with a tiny bit sticking out of your ear.

They fit well, and stay firmly in your ear when you’re out and about, be it a walk, a bike ride or a run.

I have worn them for about an hour or more at times, and they just about start to feel a little bit heavy/uncomfortable after about 90 minutes.

Sound Quality

When it comes to music, Edifier clearly know what they are doing. They have been fairly good at being able to offer a fairly decent quality at a pretty good price.

These ear buds sound fairly well, the sound quality is clear, and is fairly true to what you want. You can adjust the settings a little bit, but generally it offers you exactly what you want from something of this sort.

Same goes for calls, fairly good at taking and making calls, with no bother. Interestingly, the ANC drops out when the calls are happening.

Active Noise Cancellation

Sadly the ANC is not as good on these as some of their other offerings. You get a bit, but on a train journey a couple of weeks ago, I just couldn’t drown out the noise or the chatter. So it works, and it is better than isolation, but if this is the most important aspect to you, then these aren’t the earbuds for you.

App control

The one good thing which sets these apart from the usual offerings is that the app allows you to adjust various functionality as well as equaliser settings. The extra bit of touch really goes a long way.
