Xiaomi, the global technology leader, has announced the introduction of its most affordable 5G smartphone series to the UK. It is also bringing alongside the smartphones the Mi Watch to the UK. The 10T series has three smartphones with the Mi 10T Pro as the top-end flagship, the Mi 10T as the mid-range and the Mi 10T Lite as the most affordable 5G smartphone in the UK. Finally, the Mi Watch empowers consumers – for active lifestyles of all kinds – with new styles and features to love.
Mi 10T Pro and Mi 10T: Taking mobile creativity and exploration to the next level
The main sensor for the Mi 10T Pro is the world’s first 108MP sensor. Mi 10T on the other hand has a 64MP main sensor. Both devices house a triple camera setup with the remaining two sensors measuring 13MP for ultra-wide-angle and 5MP for macro. Camera setups on both models are complemented by the photography and videography features.
The displays on Mi 10T Pro and the regular Mi 10T come equipped with the industry-leading 144Hz refresh rate to boot. In order to be power efficient, Xiaomi’s AdaptiveSync display automatically matches the content’s frame rate. And with Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation (MEMC) technology, the devices insert more frames to make video smoother and better viewing.
Both models also come packed with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset which offers blazing fast performance speeds thanks to 5G connectivity. Both models also house a massive 5000mAh battery pack that is complemented by the Mi Fast Charging.
Mi 10T Pro will be available in the 8GB+256GB variant both in Cosmic Black and Aurora Blue and will be available to purchase at a recommended retail price of £599 on mi.com/uk from November 2nd, as well as via Vodafone and Three from November 6th. The smartphone can be pre-ordered on Vodafone from October 30th to November 5th.
Mi 10T will be available in the 6GB+128GB variant both in Cosmic Black and Lunar Silver and will be available to purchase at a recommended retail price of £469 on mi.com/uk and Amazon UK from November 2nd.
Mi 10T Lite: The most affordable 5G smartphone in the UK market
The Mi 10T Lite is an attempt by Xiaomi to bring the most affordable 5G smartphone to UK customers. It comes equipped with a QUAD camera setup, leaving behind the top models with a 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor.
New software tools such as six Long exposure modes, Time-lapse selfie, Timed burst and Dual Video offer users the ability to capture more unique and creative images without the need for standalone editing software. It has the industry-leading Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset and houses a 4820mAh battery that supports Mi Fast Charging Technology.
Mi 10T Lite will be available in two variants, 6GB+64G and 6GB+128GB, in Atlantic Blue, Pearl Gray and Rose Gold Beach. At a recommended retail price of £229 and £299 respectively, it will be available for purchase on mi.com/uk and Amazon UK from October 26th, and via pre-order on Vodafone from October 30th.
It is also available at an early bird price of £199 (6GB+64GB) and £249 (6GB+128GB) on mi.com/uk and Amazon UK, from 0:00 to 23:59 BST on October 26th.
