Samsung Electronics has revealed its most affordable smartphone that is equipped with 5G capabilities, the new Galaxy A42 5G. This is the first entry in the A series line-up that has 5G connectivity, further strengthening the series. The smartphone has all the essential innovative features packed inside that one expects from an A series smartphone. These include a Quad Camera, Infinity-U Display and Long Lasting Battery.

The Galaxy A42 comes with an incredibly modern and premium finish. The ergonomic design and rounded edges make it comfortable to hold and easy to operate one-handed. It is available in three eye-catching colours; Prism Dot Black, Prism Dot White and Prism Dot Grey.

With the innovative Quad Camera setup on the rear and blazing fast 5G speeds, you can capture and share in the moment using the Galaxy A42. The 48MP Main Camera, along with 8MP Ultra Wide Camera can take breath-taking landscape images while the 5MP Macro Camera and 5MP Depth Camera capture intricate details of close-up objects and can create a background blur effect around the subject. There is a 20MP Selfie Camera on the front for next-level selfie shots and crystal clear video calls.
The smartphone comes packed with 128GB of internal storage which is backed by 4GB of RAM. The storage can also be expanded using the MicroSD support up to 1TB. You’ll be able to capture and save videos and photos without worrying about running out of storage space.

The Galaxy A42 5G will be available from November 6th in the United Kingdom and will be priced at £349 RRP.
