As 2018 is shaping up to be an amazing year for iPhone advancements. Apple is planning to continue its iPhone line-up by introducing new iPhones. The first is a version of the iPhone X which has the same OLED display of 5.8 inch screen, while the second iPhone may be called iPhone X Plus, due to its larger OLED display of 6.5-inch.
With these iPhones, which will certainly be as expensive as the iPhone X. Apple is preparing to present a more affordable and new 6.1 inch iPhone with an LCD. This device could use a full active LCD, which will offer improved and enhanced technology over its predecessors.
Features of the Next iPhone
The new iPhone will feature an edge to edge screen with nearly the same non-existent bezels of the iPhone X It will also be equipped with a TrueDepth camera system that supports facial ID. This will mark the official end of the touch ID fingerprint sensor and Home Button in Apple’s flagship line-up.
While the 5.5 inch and 6.5 inch OLED iPhones will be equipped with all the bells and whistles of the iPhone X, Apple will reduce some features to lower the cost of the device. The device will have an aluminium frame instead of a stainless frame. It may also come with a single lens rear camera and wireless charging.
Price of the Next iPhone
By enhancing its features, Apple is expected to sell the device for £650 to £800. We don’t know what the OLED iPhones will be priced at.
Other Design and Features
Relatively, the OLED iPhones are expected have 4GB RAM and include dual lens rear cameras. The bigger model will support a bigger battery for longer life and the next iPhone is expected to offer dual-SIM functionality. The next Apple’s line up could come in different colours, with the OLED devices available in grey, gold and silver. While the 6.1 inch could be available in multiple colours such as white, blue, orange, red, and grey,
In addition to a TrueDepth camera system and Face ID, the next iPhone may include improved LTE chip for Intel and Qualcomm with A12 processor which will support faster LTE speeds. With the launch of a second generation 5.8 inch iPhone X and a bigger 6.5 inch which may be called iPhone X Plus, rumours suggest that Apple will discontinue the current iPhone X rather than selling it as a lower cost of older generation device. They will also not reduce the price tags of the iPhone X.
What You Should Know
The manufacturing of iPhone X would cease with the production of the new iPhone. This is what Apple did with the iPhone 5 when the iPhone 5s and 5c were launched. As at this moment, no one has an idea of what Apple will call the next iPhone that is coming soon. We may refer to it as ‘’iPhone X Plus’’ or ‘’2018 iPhone’’.
