Star kids are the biggest reality, future, and present of Bollywood. No matter how much we disagree with the evil of nepotism we can not negate the love they receive. The amount of affection and admiration people have showered on their family is almost doubled when they hear their children coming to big screens. They have fairly greater opportunities to be noted by the filmmakers. A common man can only dream of those.
However, it is not all as rosy as it may sound. The expectation level of people from them is much higher as compared to a nobody. Hence not all star kids have been able to carve a niche for themselves. Many flopped miserably and are nowhere to be seen now.
Here we have a list of some of the star kids who are expected to come on silver screen anytime soon.
- Jhanvi Kapoor
Our beloved actress Sridevi and the producer Boney Kapoor’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor seems to have it all. Her uncles and cousins are also famous Bollywood actors. Born with a silver spoon, the elder of two sisters Jhanvi decided to join Bollywood much to her mother’s dismay. Her first film ‘Dhadak’ is about to hit the cinemas and we must say she reminds us of late Sridevi with her dove-shaped eyes and accent.
2. Sara Ali Khan
Coming from the House of Pataudi, Sara Ali Khan has a list of family members who need no introduction.
From Mother Amrita Singh to father Saif Ali Khan, from grandmother Sharmila Tagore to grandfather the great cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan, from stepmom Kareena Kapoor to aunt Soha Ali Khan, the family is royally famous and blessed with talent.
Schooled at Columbia University, no one ever thought that Sara will join the Hindi Cinema. But hey, the beauty’s first film Kedarnath starring opposite Sushant Singh Rajput will be out in no time.
Did we forget to mention Sara’s famous baby brother Taimur Ali Khan?
3. Ananya Panday
Chunkey and Bhavna Panday’s daughter Ananya is now a big girl. We would often see her pictures with her friends thinking why did this breathtakingly beautiful girl not join the film industry? Seems our prayers were heard and we have officially come across the first look of Karan Johar’s film ‘Student of the Year 2.’ Yes, the same launch pad Aalia Bhatt started from. Ananya, you go girl!
4. Suhana Khan
Another star kid we can not wait to see in films is Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan. Time literally flies. Suhana who was once a baby trotting on her dad’s sets is now a full grown beautiful girl. As also hinted by Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana will also be seen in films anytime soon. Suhana is currently studying in London and keeps visiting India. She is Instagram’s sweetheart for sure.
5. Navya Naveli
Born to Shweta Bachan and Nikhil Nanda, Navya Naveli has been capturing the attention of shutterbugs since she grew up. Picking up the best genes of both sides, Navya has both Bachan and Kapoor blood. Her father Nikhil Nanda is the grandson of the greatest showman Raj Kapoor while mother Shweta Bachan is the only daughter of the veterans Amitabh Bachan and Jaya Bahaduri. Navya is one of the most good looking of this new lot and we can not wait to see her on the big screen.
Apologies for missing out on her famous aunt Aishwariya Rai Bachan who is regarded as one of the most beautiful women on Earth.
6. Aryan Khan
Shah Rukh Khan’s handsome son Aryan happens to have taken after his famous father. Not only does Aryan Khan look like his dad but also has a charisma of his own that even oozes through his pictures. We can not say if he will be able to live up to his father’s legacy but boy, Aryan is one good-looking chap who has all the abilities to set the big screen ablaze. He is currently studying filmmaking in the University of Southern California. His choice of the course tells something is definitely cooking.
Sanju Baba’s firstborn Trishala Dutt lives in the United States. She is the granddaughter of great Nargis and Sunil Dutt. This beauty with brains has done her majors in criminal justice and has specialized in forensic science. However, few know that she also has dabbled in acting by taking short-term courses with the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.
Surviving a split family and its repercussions, Trishala has an inspirational weight loss story as well. She can prove to be one of the hottest additions to the industry provided given a chance.
We might not agree with unequal opportunities in an unfair world but let’s appreciate these kids for the pressure they take since childhood in the name of their parents. Both sides of the picture are equally important. And yeah, the audience decide it all 🙂
