HD Video Converter Factory Pro Review

Are you looking for the best software to convert your videos? HD Video Converter Factory Pro will be an ideal choice for you. This software will help you convert HD videos to nearly all the common formats and 200+ devices. As a result of its advanced encoder, it is best qualified to convert videos from Standard-Definition (SD) to High-Definition (HD) like HD MP4, HD MKV, HD AVI, HD MTS, HD TRP, even 4k standard. HD Video Converter Factory Pro, integrated with outstanding 5X compression rate, will downsize video (convert HD videos to SD videos) with Minimum Quality Loss! And the compressed videos are nearly indistinguishable from the originals. That is awesome! Let’s go through all its features in detail.

Interface and Operation

The interface of WonderFox HD Video Converter Factory Pro is very neat and easy to understand. If you already have some video files on your computer that you want to convert, you can easily add them by clicking on the “Add Files” button. Or you can just drag and drop the target files into the program. The software now shows you the most important information about the videos such as original format, video length, resolution, and file size. If you need to download a video from YouTube or other websites, press the “Download Video” button and insert the video URL link. The software supports more than 300 sites, including YouTube, Vevo, Facebook, Vimeo, LiveLeak, Twitter and BBC. The program analyzes the video URL and gives you the options to choose from between different resolutions for the downloaded file. And then you can download the video in its original format or you are able to select an output format from the supported formats.

Editing a Video

Besides converting and downloading videos, it’s a video editor. It’s not better than those professional video editors, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Cyberlink PowerDirector, Corel VideoStudio or VEGAS Pro. But if you use this program in the right way, you can also enhance your basic video editing work. For example, merging multiple videos (in different formats) into one video, cropping and clipping, adding special effects, changing aspect ratio (4: 3 to 16: 9 or 37:20 if you like) or modifying resolution are supported. Additionally, if you have demand for adding a subtitle, you can import it as a SRT or ASS file in the “T-subtitle” tab and embed it to your video.

Optimization Profiles Preset

When you have finished importing and editing your video, it’s time to convert and save them on computer or portable devices. What is the most attractive feature for me is that it provides a lot of programmed optimization profiles not only for the latest hot devices like iPhone X and iPhone 8 Plus, etc. but also for not so well-known ones. You might find your old gadget in the output format list. If you want to watch the videos on your TV but don’t know what’s the best specs for the TV model, of course you can also directly select from the TV profile options which WonderFox HD Video Converter Factory Pro provides in advance. In the same way you can set your output video format in “Web” tab like YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook or HTML5. For each output file, you can improve the video quality from low to high, increase bitrate, and set resolution up to 1080P or even 4K. Now after you have decided an output format, you just need to click on “Run”, the conversion starts. The conversion is amazingly fast, without slowing down the PC.

Making Your Ringtone

For music lovers among you who would like to save YouTube or other videos as music, WonderFox HD Video Converter Factory Pro also offers this possibility. It will help you extract tracks and audio from any video. There are common as well as lossless formats such as MP3, AAC, WMA or WAV, ALAC, FLAC, DT, etc. By the way, the software can create ringtones for iOS and Android devices.

WonderFox HD Video Converter Factory Pro is a multipurpose tool when it comes to converting, downloading and editing a video. The operation is suitable for beginners and the quality of output videos won’t disappoint you.

  1. HVF sucks
Don’t waste your money on HD Video Factory. Bought the program, ran it for two weeks. Lots of headaches and problems. Wrote customer service and said I wanted a refund, which was promised, within 30 days, at the place where you make the purchase. They agreed there were problems with the program, said they would fix it, then get back to me in a week without ever addressing my request for a refund.

I wrote to them again and again, requesting a refund. No response. I asked about a copy of the program being fixed. No response. Did a little digging and concluded that this is a Chinese company. Emails are in Chinglish, representatives are Chinese, despite “Americanized” names in emails. Probably wouldn’t be a real bad program if they actually made it run properly prior to releasing it instead of releasing it and then letting buyers be the beta lab-rats.

Have never gotten a refund. Wrote Avangate, parent company of HVF, they said they would pass along my emails to HDF. No help there. Steer clear of cheap, poorly constructed Chinese products that promise a refund, but never deliver.

Any Video Converter is a WAY better program than HVF and it’s free, with no headaches. HVF is no faster than AVC, and it is way more user friendly.
