While the internet is great, a lot of us are forced to go out in the open world and interact with people. This means dressing up smart, which often results in the need to iron the clothes you wear. As a man, you often need to iron the shirts you wear. With women, things get even more complicated as the clothes often come with intricate designs and layers of fabric. Look and Feel
The device is easily held in your hand. The top contains a button which also includes a light. When on, it glows yellow. 25 seconds later it is ready to use. Pressing it activates the steam.
The water container is detachable and the measuring cup that comes with it helps you fill it up.
The heating plate and other attachments can be added to the front of the device. The default is the heating plate which fulfils most of your ironing needs.
The setup is pretty simple. Take the water container off, fill it, attach it, and plug the device in.
Wait 25 seconds for it to warm up. Interestingly the manual that came with the device mentioned this to be about 10 seconds. On a personal level, a small wait is enough, without needing to count the seconds.
Using on fabrics
Once you get the knack, the device is really easy to use. To use this, you need to hang your garment of choice such that you can stretch it. I used a shirt on a hanger and hung it on the back of a chair. You can try other places, but remember that the steam generated by this device may not be good for the likes of wardrobes or even walls (wallpaper comes off in steam!).
Once ready, stretch your shirt/fabric, press the steam button on the back and just let it pass over the fabric. As you do so, you will see the wrinkles disappear.
All in all, it is as simple as that.
This means that I can iron (steam) my shirts in the morning in a matter of a few seconds instead of needing to set up the ironing table and use a few minutes to do the same.
The time saved in the process is very useful!
