There is a new social app getting ready to hit the market, and predictions are that it will break the mould in terms of how social reality games are perceived.
Candy Crush has become a global phenomenon and changed the way that we look at social gaming apps – for the better.
Candy Crush’s genius – and the reason it has shown staying power in a notoriously fickle market is that it’s a great traditional and simple game – but it’s also social. A big part of the appeal is being able to compare your score with friends online.
So just imagine what would happen if Candy Crush met Facebook?
PicknChoose is the new social reality game – it uses gamification the same as Candy Crush by increasing levels by matching candy to reach a certain score – with PicknChoose you are picking from people and earning ‘points’ for it to reach your next level.
The concept is simple; everyone starts at level 1 – the more people you connect and interact with, (both opposite and same sex) the more points you gain!
As you develop your profile, add images, update profile information, connect with new people, chat and get to know your connections etc. the more points you are rewarded; when you reach the end of a level 1, you move to level 2 and so on.
PicknChoose – an app which is multidimensional in nature – it can be treated as a game, dating app, social circle builder or just a general social networking tool for online interaction.
Aside from gamers, the app is targeted at people who don’t necessarily play traditional games, and also those that are sick of the hook-up apps such as Tinder with a way to building relationships, social circles or dating.
