A few days ago I wrote about how my data usage has changed in the last few months. I have gone from using 100MB over a month to being just shy of 2GB every month. Why? I suppose I was mostly reliant on WiFi at most of my locations, and as situations have changed, I have become more and more reliant on using data. More so, I have recently gained an addiction to Instagram (look me up if you like, http://instagram.com/smacula1), which seems to be a great way to use up your data allowance. My average use has gone from 100MB a month to 100MB on a good day, a good day being one with lots of Instagramming!
With holidays at their peak, internet and WiFi availability has become an important consideration, and with no national free Wifi, costs are on the rise. Of course, once abroad, you are heavily dependant on WiFi to avoid roaming charges as well.
More so, we are becoming famous for our need to pack in our smart devices on holidays, whether just for reading, or browsing the best restaurant to eat at. Of course, activities such as sharing photos and videos are not far behind.
To cater for all this, Intel has created a handy interactive map to highlight where in Europe you can rely on for free Wifi!
