The Motorola Moto G is probably my favourite low end Android phone. It just ticks all the boxes, promises you the best Android experience, and it also packs in a robust shell with splash proof protection. Not bad for something that was selling under £150. However, it did lack a few options. The 8GB device had a serious lack of memory space to install anything, and in today’s world, anything without 4G is not really going very far.
Motorola have realized both of these shortcomings, and low and behold, we have the new Moto G, and it offers both. 4G and a micro SD card slot.
The new Moto G will be available soon, and it will cost £149 unlocked. The old Moto G will continue to sell at different carriers for £119 unlocked.
