PINK-FLEX

Fitbit are no strangers to fitness, and today they have launched the pink Fitbit Flex, in order to support and raise funds for Breast Cancer Care. Each pink Flex purchased will contribute towards the charity, with a minimum £10k pledge.

There are 55000 breast cancer diagnoses every year, and Breast Cancer Care offers clinical expertise as well as emotional support to the the thousands of people across UK to find a way to live with, through and beyond breast cancer.

Andy Harris, Director of Fundraising and Marketing at Breast Cancer Care, said:

“Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK, so it’s vital we support the thousands of women and their families who face the devastating physical and emotional impact of living with the disease every day. We’re thrilled to work with Fitbit as a supporter of our cause, and as a company that encourages people to lead a more physically active lifestyle. We couldn’t continue our work without supporters like Fitbit and buying a Pink Flex is a great way to help support our essential services”

Gareth Jones, EMEA General Manager said:

“We are proud to align with Breast Cancer Care as the only specialist breast cancer support charity working throughout the UK. In addition to contributing to their campaign for better support and care associated with breast cancer,Fitbit is also helping people improve their general health and fitness in small simple steps – primarily by encouraging users to move more.”

The vibrant and sleek pink Fitbit Flex tracks steps, distance, calories burnt, active minutes and sleep quality. It also syncs wirelessly and automatically with mobile devices and computers, so you can effortlessly check your stats on the go.

It adds to the other colours already available on the Fitbit Flex: Navy, Teal, Tangerine, Slate and Black. It is available exclusively at Apple stores, or from Fitbit.com. It retails for £79.99.
