We have tried some great Fuze bike decorations this week. We have three different Fuze lights to talk about and my son has loved them all.
The Light Striper
We tried the Light Striper first. The Light Striper is basically a rope light that you can attach with bands and clips to most bikes or scooters. This is a great way of quickly decorating your child’s bike or scooter and is very easy to attach.
The kit comes with 2 metres of rope light, 10 clips, 20 elastic bands and a power unit. The light is very easy to set up, and only took us about ten minutes. We started by attaching the power unit to the scooter, the unit is part of a bracket that you grip around the handle bar with screws to fasten, my only comment on this is that there is no cushion between the bracket and the bar you are attaching it to. We think there should be a barrier to stop any scratching of the scooter or bike. We then wound the rope light around the scooter attaching the clips to stop the light from moving. The bands and clips are very easy to fasten. There is plenty of light to cover a scooter and most of a bike frame. There is a button on the power unit to swap between three different light sequences. The first light option just keeps the light on all of the time, the second makes the light flash slowly and the third makes the light flash faster.
This light costs about £16.99
My son loved this on his scooter and says it has made it look really COOL!!
The Gyro Glow
The Gyro Glow is a wheel decoration for bikes, it fits wheel sizes 18” and up. The Gyro Glow fits directly onto the wheel spokes and takes AAA batteries which are not included.
This was very easy to clip onto the wheel spokes and was fitted in a matter of minutes. The light has LEDs that create fantastic patterns with light and is also colour changing so you won’t get bored with the patterns. The light is water resistant so if it goes through a puddle it won’t stop working.
This is a great way to brighten up any bike and if your older child rides in the evening they are sure to be seen.
This light costs about £14.99
The Wheel Writer
The Wheel Writer is a fantastic light that attaches directly onto the wheel spokes. This fits Wheel sizes 20” and up and is very quick to clip onto the spoke of the bike. This light requires 3 AAA batteries which are not included and is also water resistant.
This great light has 12 different interesting pictures that appear when you peddle faster and it also has a real working speedometer which my son now loves and keeps challenging himself to beat! I would say that you do have to peddle quite fast to see the pictures clearly.
This is another great way to decorate a bike.
This light costs about £19.99
