Freebie/Giveaway: Rescue Your Vinyl & Tapes

The idea is simple. Nothing beats the feeling of playing that record you have! You can almost feel the music flow through you as that little needle moves through those tiny little grooves!

Sadly, vinyl, and tapes for that matter, do not last as long as we’d hope. That is why we are happy to announce that we have something very useful for all you vinyl and tape lovers out there! A kit that helps you rescue your Vinyls and Tapes, version 2013 by Magix! Normally this software is sold for Β£99.98, but we love you so much that we’re giving not one, not two, but four copies of it!

It already includes a Premium-USB pre-amp and other accessories, and you should be good to go. You can find out more about it, and how well it would work with your system here:

So, now, what do you have to do to win one of these?

Simple, like our Facebook page, as below, and tell us the name of what you’ll really want to rescue first by using the comment box below. Do tell us if you have liked our Facebook page as well.

Alternatively, follow @oxgadgets on Twitter, give the following Tweet an RT, Β and once again comment and tell us what album or song will get the treatment first, and tell us you followed us on Twitter.

  1. The Prayers – Sister Goodbye vinyl single. My favourite song of all time and my most prized item among my 1000+ old vinyl albums/singles. I bought the mp3 on amazon and was shocked at how bad the quality was compared to my vinyl original – it deserves better!
Liked on facebook and twitter – Gunuph

  2. I’d save ‘Amanda’ by Craig McLachlan – it’s a single that my Dad bought for my Mum when they were younger! Liked on FB.

  3. I would rescue an old family video taken at Xmas, one of the last times all our family were together!
    Like on Facebook!

  4. I’ve inherited my father’s 78’s and remember him using them to teach us to dance when we were much younger. I’d love to digitise them to share as whilst they are very scratched, it’s the crackle that brings back the memories and there’s even an Elvis or two among them.

  5. 7″ vinyl Into the valley by the skids – heard the tune recently on a tv ad – had forgotten all about it not to mention all the others πŸ™‚ liked on facebook Sarah Lee

  6. Recordings of my parents gossiping – made as a childhood prank (by my sister on a hidden cassette recorder forty years ago). It will be the only way to hear them now.
