As always, we’re very keen to highlight anything that goes on in our local community, and today we bring you the great initiative by Pc People, your local IT specialists. They have a great initiative where they provide free IT support via Twitter to anybody presenting their problems to them. A novel way to get help, but we think it is a great idea. Who knows, this might just set a trend! All you need to do is sign in to Twitter, every Thursday between 8 and 9 pm, and use the hashtag #techsupport to ask for help. Of course, tag their Twitter account @PcPeopleUK in it as well, or just follow them there!
Here is a bit about them and their #techhour, in their own words:
Pc People UK believe getting the right IT solution for your business can be a hassle. We take all of the stress and worry out of sourcing, implementing and installing IT solutions using our wealth of experience, training and understanding of your needs and you budget.
We firmly believe that IT should be a tool to help business improve efficiency, productivity and growth and not a hindrance. We are committed and passionate about our clients and providing them with the IT support and solutions best suited to their businesses. Our IT Support and solutions are designed around our clients, whether it is by providing a full service IT Support plan fully backed up with service level agreements or just providing advice on the advantages of new technology.
We understand that people always have a problem with technology and do not always know who to ask or where to go for advice. We would like to create a place for people to come and ask advice/questions about their tech for free. Our tech guys have a huge wealth of knowledge and want to pass on information that could make tech life easier. We will try to answer questions as soon as possible and if we do not have the answer we will point you in the right direction.
