With the advent of the mobile phone, chargers became a part of our travelling requirements. With the advent of the smart phone, chargers with USB ports became all the rage. Most universal travel adapters started to pack in a USB port in them as well. Mostly though, these USB ports provide very little current, under 500mA, which is not really sufficient to charge a smart phone or a tablet. For example, on my old phone, I could clearly notice that the touch screen would not work properly when the device was being charged by a sub par charger. Similar issues went with car chargers. They are either too expensive, too cheap, too bulky, or just impractical.
Step in MiLi Universal charger. This universal charger not only comes with plugs that cater to all of the world’s needs, but it also connects to your car.
It also comes with two USB ports. They can both provide up to 1A each, and if you want to charge something like an iPad, USB Port 1 can deliver up to 2.1A when you are only using that. This means that not only can you fulfil your charging requirements, you can also charge up to two devices at one, while in the car, or in any hotel in the world!
The device also packs in an indicator LED which runs RED when the device is charging, and switches to Green when your device is charged. This means that you can unplug this device when done charging.
Changing of the plug adapters is a pretty straight forward mechanism. As is the swinging in and out of the car plug. Overall the device has a very good mechanical feel, and goes in line with the beautiful finish of your devices.
The only thing I’d say this struggles on is the size. Since it packs in so much, the device is a bit big and may cover up a neighbouring socket.
