The Huawei brand is amongst the most popular in the world and a third of the world’s population are already using their products. So fans of Huawei will be delighted to hear they have unveiled three new stylish and powerful MateBooks which will begin shipping during the summer this year. Named Huawei MateBook X, Huawei MateBook E and Huawei Matebook D, they are designed for consumers who have busy lives and need connectivity between work and home.
The Huawei MateBook X has a fanless design to reduce fan blockage and dust malfunctions. It has an 88 percent screen-to-body ratio and 4.4mm bezels with a 3:2 aspect ratio. This 13-inch notebook features a 7th Generation Intel Core i7 or i5 processor and a fingerprint-ready power button with an encrypted chip. The 2K display screen is constructed of Corning Gorilla Glass and eye comfort technology.
There’s also a 41.4Wh battery. The Huawei MateBook X is the first notebook ever to feature Dolby Atmos Sound System with speakers co-designed by Dolby. It’s a partnership that will spark interest and give consumers exceptional audio quality. It comes with Windows 10 and using Windows Hello users can sign into the device using their fingerprint. Using MateBook Manager, the MateBook can easily pair with Huawei smartphones. It is available in three chic colours, Prestige Gold, Space Grey and Rose Gold.
The Huawei MateBook E is a 2-in-1 notebook. It features a Folio Keyboard and maximum angle adjustment of 160 degrees and the hinge is available in blue, brown or pink. The screen-to-body ratio in this device is 84 percent and it has a 7th Generation Intel Core i5 or m3 processor and 2K touch screen display. It has a reduced number of Pogo pins from seven to three which will improve docking mode. The battery is 33.7Wh.
The Huawei MateBook also uses an independent encrypted chip for fingerprint authentication for improved security. The really great thing about this 2-in-1 notebook is that it comes with several optional accessories such as a MateDock 2 and a MatePen.
The other notebook in the trio, the Huawei MateBook D is the largest at 15.6 inches and measures 16.9mm with 6.2mm bezel. The screen-to-body ratio for this device is 83 percent and it has a 178-degree viewing angle. This is the MateBook that is being touted as the ideal choice for multimedia.
It features a 7th Generation Intel Core i7 or i5 processor, has optional NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics with 2GB GDDR5 video memory for gaming and Dolby Atmos Sound System. Windows 10 is pre-installed and Microsoft Digital Assistant Cortana is also featured. Also, it has a full-size chiclet keyboard. It is available in Space Grey, Champagne Gold and Aurora Blue.
