Disney+, the exclusive streaming home of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic has launched Star today, its new general entertainment brand, inside the Disney+ app.
Star will add over 75 TV series and more than 280 movies alongside an initial slate of 4 exclusive Star Originals, with new titles being added every month. Star Originals include the highly anticipated Big Sky from visionary storyteller David E. Kelley and Love, Simon spin-off series Love, Victor written by the film’s original writers Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger.
As the exclusive UK mobile network distributor of Disney+, O2 is offering new and upgrading customers the opportunity to enjoy six months of Disney+ on O2. Existing O2 customers can add Disney+ to their plan for £7.99 a month and receive £2 off their monthly airtime bill.
Subscribers can enjoy the Disney+ experience across mobile and connected TV devices, including gaming consoles, streaming media players, and smart TVs. They can even download any series or movie on up to 10 devices to watch whatever they want, whenever they want, without having to hunt down Wi-Fi.
Disney+ is available on O2 through O2 Extras. O2 Extras is available to new and upgrading O2 Pay Monthly customers on handset, tablet and SIM only contracts. Using the My O2 platform customers on eligible tariffs can choose from a range of extras covering areas such as music, video, meditation, books and audiobooks.
