A Christmas Gift For Your Loved One And The Environment!

Winter, the holiday season and Christmas approaching: what comes to your mind? GIFTS! If you haven’t decided what to get your loved ones this Holiday Season, then worry not. We have something really exciting for you. It is the Rocketbook Notebook 2020.

Given all the incredible tech that’s out there, you must be wondering how a notebook can make for a good gift? Well, let’s get into two Rocketbooks to answer this!

The Rocketbook Fusion

This has been designed for the classroom, office and personal mission. This offers seven different templates that you can connect to your favourite cloud services. The pen and the notebook are reusable given the limited number of templates. There are also 42 futuristic pages are packed with calendars, to-do lists, and notetaking layouts. The most incredible thing about it is the patented reusable Core technology that allows you to write smoothly with a Pilot FriXion pen, then magically wipe clean with a damp cloth to reuse again and again! So this makes it a pretty good choice for a gift this Christmas for your colleagues, family and friends who might need one.

The Rocketbook Core

The next is the Rocketbook Core and it is no less. This was formerly known as Everlast and provides a classic pen and paper experience. But it is built for the digital age. It brings the best of both the traditional notebook age and the modern digital note-taking age. Like fusion, this one is also reusable and can be connected to all your favourite cloud services. Moreover, while writing with any pen from the Pilot Frixion line, the writing sticks to the Core pages just like on a regular paper. To erase what you have written all you need to do is add a drop of water and it will erase like magic.

While all of the incredible features make these two amazing holiday season gifts for your loved ones, there’s more to it. The reusability feature makes it environmentally friendly as whoever you give this to won’t be wasting paper anymore. Moreover, there is a lot to explore on the Rocketbook as compared to a traditional notebook. You can choose from several writing modes and what not. Get one, or get in bulk for all your loved ones and make a difference in their lives and for the environment!

Turtle

Of course we gave it a go before recommending it to you. I am not sure why, but when I was trying it out, this was what my brain produced:

Using the Rocketbook app

This image is brought to you directly from iCloud where it automatically uploaded when I scanned it in through the app. It is also available in the app, and the clever app knows to title it ‘Turtle’ based on my not so legible handwriting up there.

You can also forward it on to emails, link it with many note taking services like Evernote or OneNote, send it to the cloud or even send it via your messaging app.

To get there, all you need to do is open the app, click on the new scan, cross out your syncing option or options, and take an image. The app does the rest. You can also have multiple page PDFs, which makes it really handy!

Cleaning it

And how easy was it to clean it? Pretty! You just moisten the cloth provided and wipe it like you were clearing a whiteboard, and off it comes. Pretty neat!

All the colours

And while Rocketbook don’t make the pens (a good thing in my mind), the Pilot FriXion pens come in all sorts of colours, so that should make the experience quite good. They are quite easy to erase using the rubber at the back of the pen too. A bit fine for some people, but I liked it!

Verdict

I think this is a very clever way of mixing tech with regular paper and pen experience, while simultaneously being good for the environment. You don’t need to worry about the stylus that feels just like a pen. Instead, you just write with an actual pen, on an actual paper, and let technology or a damp cloth do the rest.
