Huawei has unveiled its new noise-cancelling wireless earphones, the Huawei FreeLace Pro at Huawei Developer Conference 2020. The new Huawei FreeLace Pro inherits the colourful, stylish appearance of the previous Huawei FreeLace and adds a dual-mic active noise-cancelling feature, as well as improvements in sound quality, 24-hour battery life, fast charging and pairing to deliver an upgraded user experience.
The Huawei FreeLace Pro is the company’s latest wireless earphones that are worn around the users’ neck. In other words, it isn’t truly wireless earphones that have recently been very popular in the hearables market, but this does raise its noise reduction levels of the Bluetooth headset. The earphones use integrated 3-point stable structure earplugs which fit better in the ears and offer better sound insulation.
Huawei FreeLace Pro offers great audio and a stylish design. For better wearer comfort and stability, the Huawei FreeLace Pro has ergonomic tri-hold structure tips. In addition, the lightweight body is formed of a nickel-titanium alloy memory neckband, wrapped with skin-friendly silicone to ensure comfort and fit when worn. It has the special physical property of being easy to fold and restore to its original shape, which further enhances the comfort when worn during exercise or commuting.
Supporting noise cancellation up to 40dB, the neckband earphones take advantage of industry-leading algorithms to provide stable noise cancelling performance in any situation. Huawei FreeLace Pro features a pair of 14mm aluminium-magnesium alloy dynamic drivers with bass tubes to offer the high fidelity audio for the ideal listening experience.
Pairing and charging are as seamless as ever with Huawei HiPair3, a Huawei-developed solution that lets users easily do both at the same time by plugging the earphones to a smartphone with a USB-C port. A five-minute charge gives enough battery to sustain five hours of music playback, and a full charge offers a full day’s use.
The Huawei FreeLace Pro continues the unique Huawei HiPair[2] with its USB-C design so that it can be used with any smartphone, PC or tablet to fast-charge at any time.
When the earphones are plugged into a smartphone or tablet, the device will automatically open a pop-up window to prompt Bluetooth pairing, which is more convenient than traditional Bluetooth pairing and charging methods.
Users often use more than one device. By double-clicking the Huawei FreeLace Pro, the earphones will automatically connect to the previously connected device so that users can switch between devices at ease.
