You can now get the phone from Vodafone UK from £65 on Pay As You Go. Vodafone has increased the range for its senior customers across the UK, keeping older users connected at a time when it matters most.

The Doro 7030 has functions and operating concepts which are uniquely crafted to suit and meet the needs of people above 65. As a result, anyone above the age of 65 can benefit from this mode’s sleek Scandinavian design with the brand’s proven usability and high-quality sound.

Doro 7030: Clamshell feature phone

The clamshell design of the Doro 7030 allows it to be extremely user-friendly. It has support for both 4G and WiFi. Frequently used social media apps such as Facebook and WhatsApp come pre-installed in the device. This allows users to stay connected with their loved ones, whatever their preferred communication habits may be.

Doro 7030 features:

  • GPS-enabled Response button and compatibility with the new Response by Doro service – giving the user peace of mind, wherever they may be
  • Facebook and WhatsApp preinstalled
  • Loud, clear sound with HAC
  • Easy-to-read display and text
  • Easy-to-use camera, with a new built-in the front-facing camera
  • Large, clear buttons
  • Headphone jack with a USB charging port

The Doro 7030 also comes packed with the Response by Doro service which offers unique features for the elderly with the aid of a Response button situated on the back of the phone.

If the Response button is pressed, the already selected list of responders will be informed immediately via an alarm and GPS notification allowing them to locate the seniors. The responders, on the other hand, can either accept or reject the call depending on their availability and distance from the senior in question. Even if one person accepts or declines the call, all other pre-selected responders will be notified. In case there are no responders who accept the alarm during the initial five minutes of it setting off, the service will automatically dial Doro’s trained staff at the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). From there, Doro operators will advise, triage, and support users accordingly. If necessary, they will be able to transfer the call to the emergency services, as well as report on their location.
