Denon Introduces 2.1 Soundbar System With Google Chromecast

Denon, the world leader audio systems, has introduced its first-ever soundbar with Google Chromecast built-in, the Denon DHT-S416 (£299/€329), enhancing an already impressive line-up of Denon soundbar models.

The addition of Chromecast in the newly launched soundbar will enable users to stream Hi-Res Audio over Wi-Fi, from music services including Google Play Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music HD, Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, Qobuz, and more. Google Assistant device can be used to give commands by voice. The soundbar can also be connected to other Chromecast enabled speakers to create a wireless multi-room system.

It is just 5.6cm tall and easily goes below most modern TVs. it comes with a separate subwoofer that features a 5.25” driver in a ported enclosure to extend the bass to phenomenal low-end levels. The setup process is extremely easy. It supports all HD and 4K TVs and also has support for HDMI ARC meaning that the soundbar can be controlled with the TV’s remote. 

The Denon DHT-S416 joins a comprehensive soundbar range that includes the DHT-S216, DHT-S316, DHT-S516H, and DHT-S716H, with prices starting from £219/€219 up to £799/€899
