LG Revolutionises Personal Clean Air With Puricare Wearable Air Purifier

LG Electronics has introduced an all-new Wearable Air Purifier to give new meaning to clean, personal air. The PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier will be launched at IFA 2020. LG has been at the forefront in the race of providing air-purifying solutions to consumers. The company has long been associated with healthy, hygienic life and this reputation has resulted in the creating of an entirely new category of wearable air purifier technology to provide consumers with a new level of portable protection. Consumers can get their hands on the LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier starting in the fourth quarter of 2020 in selected markets.

Since the homemade masks never provide the same quality and the disposable masks have been in short supply ever since COVID-19, LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier comes with a solution that resolves this dilemma. LG has used two H13 HEPA filters in the PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier. These filters are similar to the filters used in the home air purifier products by LG.

The PuriCare Wearable incorporates the latest air purification technology by LG. it allows users to replace filters when necessary, enabling the PuriCare Wearable to supply fresh, clean air both indoors and outdoors. It comes packed with dual fans and a patented Respiratory Sensor. The Respiratory Sensor ensures that the dual three-speed fans are adjusted in accordance with the volume and cycle of the wearer’s breath, enabling the consumer to breathe in clean and filtered air. The fans automatically speed up to assist air intake and slow down to reduce resistance when exhaling to make breathing effortless.

The PuriCare Wearable has been ergonomically designed to fit the face of the wearer based on extensive facial shape analysis. It ensures that it fits snugly on the face of the user, ensuring that there is no air leakage around the nose and chin area. The design is also extremely wearable friendly as it is highly comfortable and can be worn over hours. The efficient and lightweight 820mAh battery offers up to eight hours of operation in low mode and two hours on high.

What’s more, LG’s innovative personal air solution comes with a case that helps maintain hygiene between uses. Equipped with UV-LED lights that kill harmful germs, the one-of-a-kind case can even charge the mask and sends a notification to the LG ThinQ mobile app (Android/iOS) when the filters need to be replaced for peak performance. And because every component of LG PuriCare Wearable – from the filters to the ear straps – is replaceable and recyclable, it’s an environmentally responsible solution as well.

“The PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier is an exciting addition to our growing lineup of products designed to deliver meaningful health and hygiene benefits,” said Dan Song, president of LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company. “At a time when consumers are seeking ways to make life safer and more convenient, it’s important that we’re able to offer solutions that add measureable value.”
