MSI Unveiled Brilliant Gaming and Content Creation Solutions at Its CES 2020 Product Keynote

During a keynote speech at CES 2020, MSI revealed its latest lineup of products for gamers and content creators. The company also announced partnerships with Ubisoft, BlueStacks, Motion Plus Design, and DJ Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s new CS: GO esports team SMASH.

“As an industry leader in gaming and computing, MSI strives to help gamers and content creators excel in their craft,” says MSI CEO Charles Chiang. “From innovations in the display, audio, game lighting, and voice control, to software like our Dragon Center and Creator Center that helps streamline experiences, we welcome a new decade in spectacular fashion. Our latest offerings and partnerships, backed by our years of experience and innovation, are fully showcased in our new technology and beautiful designs.”

In terms of hardware, MSI announced several products including:

  • GE66 Raider gaming laptop
  • GS66 Stealth gaming laptop
  • several limited-edition gaming laptops
  • MEG Aegis Ti5 gaming desktop
  • Optix MEG381CQR gaming monitor
  • MAG342CQR gaming monitor

  • Creation Series graphics cards
  • CK40 keyboard
  • CM30 mouse
  • CH40 headset

Several of MSI’s new products were awarded top honors at CES earlier today.

Plenty of MSI’s other announcements focus on content creation, collaboration, and AI. From dual display support with iOS devices, sound sharing technology, AI voice recognition, and gaming voice control, MSI’s 2020 plans extend the use of MSI’s award-winning products.

Deep Connection with Gamers and Creators

MSI announced an exclusive AI Duet Display, which allows gamers and creators to share their gameplay in real-time, and they can even link their iOS devices as an additional display for collaborative coaching, playing, and content sharing. Along similar lines, the hardware manufacturer has partnered with Nahimic’s virtual audio device to allow friends and colleagues to listen to the same audio during gameplay and creative sessions.

To add to the AI Duet Display and sound sharing, MSI also has AI Voice Recognition and in-game voice control. The technology was developed in partnership with Ubisoft, so Ghost Recon Breakpoint players can now control in-game actions, modify RGB lightning with MSI’s Mystic Light, and program hotkeys with voice control.

MSI’s partnership with BlueStacks, on the other hand, has created the MSI App Player so that gamers can play 12 games simultaneously on the same account or across multiple accounts.

“Our longstanding partnership with MSI and our shared goal of enhancing gamers’ experience has helped us bring mobile gaming to PC,” said CEO of BlueStacks Rosen Sharma. “We’re excited to partner with a brand as committed to the gaming industry as we are and are working closely with MSI’s team to develop new ways to enjoy gaming to the fullest.”

Dragon Center 2020

MSI has also updated the Dragon Center app to feature Game Highlights, which will automatically create highlight videos during gameplay that can be shared online using AI to intelligently select which parts of gameplay to highlight. Dragon Center 2020 also provides support for Mystic Light on additional gaming titles, and the MSI Companion, which provides a shortcut for multi-function controls and display during gameplay.

Creator Center 2020

MSI’s Creator Center software will now feature an integrated AI engine to help detect the creator’s most frequently used programs and allocate system resources by priority to support those programs.

Simulated Reality to Inspire Creativity

Finally, MSI shared a look at what might be the future of computing. In collaboration with Dimenco B.V., MSI has created an interactive “Simulated Reality” demo on select laptops that feature autostereoscopic displays that present natural and immersive holograms that interact with users through hand gestures. The Simulated Reality tech offers a way for users to interact with holograms without glasses or headsets.
