HUAWEI MateBook D Series (2020) with FullView Display

HUAWEI MateBook D

HUAWEI’s latest and newest MateBook D series, the Matebook D 15. It is sleek, light comes with good specs.

“The MateBook D Series is the latest in our exciting range of PCs and reinforces our vision to bring new experiential innovations with every product. We are committed to delivering the best user experience to consumers and the MateBook range is stylish, powerful and smart – the perfect all-scenario devices that excel at both work and play” said Anson Zhang, Managing Director of HUAWEI UK’s Consumer Business Group. “2020 marks a new era of connectivity and we are excited to be at the forefront of this drive to create products that bring consumers together in a meaningful way.”

The Authentic FullView Display

The ultra-slim laptop market is experiencing rapid growth. Always pursuing design perfection, Huawei leaned on its expertise in smartphone technology and system integration capabilities to realize the ultra-slim bezel design on its FullView displays. This design approach lets Huawei pack a large display into a portable chassis and offer the best of both worlds.

In line with the rest of the MateBook family, the HUAWEI MateBook D (2020) Series comes with a FullView display. Measuring at just 4.8mm for the 14” and 5.3mm for the 15.6” model, three ultra-thin bezels frame the displays, resulting in an outstanding 84 percent and 87 percent screen-to-body ratios respectively.

One-click Fingerprint Login

You can easily power on and log in your MateBook D without having to enter a password by simply pressing the Power Button, which doubles as a fingerprint sensor.

The HUAWEI MateBook series is the first Windows PC to feature a fingerprint sensor for user login. Like its predecessors, the HUAWEI MateBook D 15 is also equipped with the fingerprint scanner. It is integrated into the power button, so users can power on their device while simultaneously having their identity authenticated. Using this scanner, users can get to Desktop immediately. The scanner improves recognition consistency with use – the more it is used, the more consistent it becomes. Most importantly, you don’t need to enter your password every time you switch on your laptop.

Recessed Camera

Realizing that privacy is a user’s priority, Huawei has taken the initiative to produce and place cameras where you have full control. The webcam is hidden on the keyboard, it will only pop up with you press it. So this means no more cyber hack issues, or users accidentally recording something and so on. There is no need to close the camera with your finger or attach one sticker on the camera.
