Death is similar for the powerful and meek

Death is the most vital reality of life. Call it bitter or devastating, every mortal who came to this world has to return to her/his final abode. There is no exemption for anyone; be it rich or poor.

We fancy the lives of the rich and the powerful. When things are going right, it seems that any misery will never touch them. They will always stand high on a pedestal and enjoy the bounties and beauties of life. However, time is cruel. Change is its instinct. It can not help changing. Death comes and swallows every mortal.

For the wealthy and powerful, it is even worse. Power does not have a pleasant fate in our part of the world. In Pakistan, most of these people have either been assassinated or died in unfavorable circumstances. Human emotions run the same way among them too. Losing a loved one is terrible for anyone and everyone.

Here are some of the most haunting images from the death and funerals of some of the important personalities of Pakistan. Looking at these pictures, our heart breaks into a million pieces.
