Here’s Why We Love All the Songs from Load Wedding

Recently released “Load Wedding” is the story of Raja of Nirali (Fahad Mustafa) who has fallen in love with Meeru (Mehwish Hayat). Raja has a sister who cannot get married on time due to her being slightly overweight and because they are not able to give a lot of dowry. While the film is very strong on its own, its authentic and melodious soundtrack is why we can’t stop listening to all of its songs on a loop.

The music is composed and the lyrics are provided by Shani Arshad who also collaborated with Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza in their previous films as well. In this film, he has truly outdone himself.

Munday Lahore Day
This dancey number is sung by Mohsin Abbas Haider and Saima J and is so much fun that you can dance to it in the upcoming wedding season to your heart’s content. You’ll especially enjoy it if you are a Punjabi!

Kooch Na Karin
This sad, nostalgic, romantic number will make you crave winters and a long lost love. There’s something very sweet about the love story of Mehru and Raja that is reflected in a very bittersweet way in this song.

Good Luck
This preppy song sung by Asrar has all the high notes and you can play it at your kid’s graduation. Okay, maybe don’t play it at your kid’s graduation but you can definitely play it on someone’s baat pakki or when you’ve gotten that big promotion?

Rangeya
This romantic ballad is sung by Mulazim H and has been placed opportunely in the film but like Kooch Na Kareen, this is also reflects a sweet love story with a lot of heart.

Faqeera
This is a sad number, full of emotion and if you’ve encountered a breakup, this is your ballad.
