The Huawei P20 features a 5.8-inch screen while the Huawei P20 Pro has a 6.1 inch screen. They have ultra-thin bezels and impressive screen-to-body ratios for improved viewing experiences and the Huawei FullView Display has stylish rounded edges for comfort when holding the device.

An Exquisite Device For Photographers Inspired by Technology and Light

As previously mentioned, the Huawei P20 Pro comes with a Leica triple camera. This has the highest total pixel count of any smartphone currently on the market and the camera has a 40MP RGB sensor, a 20MP monochrome sensor and an 8MP sensor with telephoto lens. A colour temperature sensor for enhanced colour reproduction is also featured making this even more impressive.

The Huawei P20 Pro has an f/1.8, f/1.6 and f/2.4 wide aperture to capture the smallest details in crystal clear quality and a brand new Leica 3x telephoto (VARIO-SUMMILUX-H 1:1.6-2.4/27-80ASPH) lens especially created for long-range photography of up to 5x Hybrid Zoom. The super sensitive image sensor captures low light photos with up to ISO 102400.

The Huawei P20 also features a Leica dual camera with a 12MP lens. The pixel size is as high as 1.55 μm, and a 20MP monochrome lens designed for capturing exceptional quality photos in low-light settings.

The Huawei P20 Series devices can support six-axis stabilisation and 960fps super slow motion. That is an incredible 4x higher than standard 240fps and can record details that are impossible to see with the naked eye. There’s also an Ultra Snapshot mode allowing users to capture a photo image in 0.3 seconds by double clicking the down volume button.

AI Photography For Novices and Professionals Alike

The Huawei P20 Series has a Kirin 970 processor which will identify over 500 scenarios in 19 categories. It can select photography modes and camera settings that will allow even the most inexperienced of photographers to capture professional-looking photographs. The addition of Huawei AIS means handheld night shots are steady and enables photographers to capture long exposure images without the need for a tripod. Another new feature to the Huawei advanced camera system is 4D predictive focus, which will focus on moving objects efficiently and record crystal clear images of objects in motion. The AI-Assisted Composition will offer intelligent suggestions to frame group shots and landscapes.

There’s also a 24MP selfie camera with AI beautification and 3D portrati lighting. This brings an end to unhealthy-looking skin tone in selfies and allows selfie enthusiasts to capture images with realistic 3D feature enhancements.

The Huawei P20 Series will support Google ARCore to offer advanced AR capabilities.
