The Xbox One X has a custom 8-core AMB CPU at 2.3GHz, a 6 teraflop GPU at 1.17GHz and 12GB of GDDR5 video RAM. It is also capable of 4K/HDR gaming with Dolby Atmos support which is already offered by the Xbox One.

Aesthetically speaking, it is similar in appearance to the original Xbox One but with a few subtle changes, such as the top hanging over the base and being slightly smaller. For those who have an Xbox One, the good news is the Xbox One X is compatible with everything from the Xbox One, so you won’t have to make any re-purchases of your favourite games or buy any new accessories.

Consumers and tech journalists are now speculating about how VR might feature in the Xbox One X. It wasn’t an option with the Xbox One but with the help of some additional hardware it was possible with the PlayStation 4. Nothing has been confirmed yet regarding this new console so we’ll have to wait and see.

It will be on sale from 7th November for $499. You can read more about it here.
