This week, DokiCam launched a new 360° camera designed especially for extreme sports fans and thrill seekers. The Chinese based brand’s mission is to provide exceptional cameras for sports enthusiasts and action photographers and this new device is an ideal choice for capturing memories at high speeds and in any environment.
It has minimal set up and is controlled with an easy to use app. This camera can capture 4K stills, 3K videos and livestreams. Of course, capturing live action shots means the device will be subjected to all sorts of environments so the DokiCam is water and dust resistant and has an IP54 rating. It’s lightweight at 140g and pocket sized making it very portable. In fact, it’s no bigger than a tennis ball and the shutter button is only slightly raised. The weight also means it would be easy to mount on a tripod, helmet or handlebars.
The DokiCam features two dual fisheye lens and image resolution of 4K (4896×2448) and 3K (2880×1440), so it gives exceptional clarity for both stills and videos. The iOS and Android apps give a range of editing tools and images and videos can be captured in Tiny Planet, VR, Fisheye and Hemisphere 360° mode. It’s easy to upload images to social media with the one-click sharing buttons.
The DokiCam’s RRP is $230 and you can read more about this new product at DokiCam’s website.
